2-Ingredient Pumpkin Brownies

‘Tis the season for all things pumpkin. Time to break out the pumpkin and get ready for Thanksgiving {I’m resisting diving right into Christmas as hard as I can… but failing miserably!} I know that pumpkin has already been a main ingredient in a lot of dishes for at least a month now, but with Halloween over, the candy corn is gone and we can REALLY dive into pumpkin flavored everything!

I was trying to decide what to make this week with a can of pumpkin I had leftover from my most recent batch of Pumpkin Spice CreamerThen it hit me! 2-ingredient pumpkin brownies! So simple. So fast. Sooo delicious!

Homemade Hand Warmers

I am a naturally cold person. My hubby complains year round that I am ice cold. Whenever we sit to watch a movie, I always snuggle up with a blanket… even if it is 110 degrees outside. And worst of all, my hands are always icicles. Now that the weather is getting more fall-like, I am even more prone to chilly hands. So when I saw these adorable little homemade hand warmers over on The Scrap Shoppe, I knew that I would be making them.

Even if you aren’t a naturally cold person there is always Christmas to think about! And I don’t know if all of you are aware of this, but it is 71 days until Christmas. It really is! I counted. You could easily make a couple of these for some of your cold-blooded friends or family!

Apple Crisp

Some of you may remember that a few weeks ago I did a guest post for my friend, Sarah, on her blog High Heels and Grills. And I thought it was about time for me to share that recipe with you!

This final recipe has always gotten rave reviews from dinner guests and family. It is inevitably followed by a second batch once the first went way too fast! It is that good!

Rustic Fall Centerpiece

I don’t know how many of you have noticed, but Halloween is HUGE in the blog world! Everyone has been decorating for All Hallows Eve for probably close to 3 weeks. But you haven’t really seen much over here on LPH about Halloween. Let me explain why: my family was not big into Halloween.

We went trick-or-treating, passed out candy, and decorated for Halloween when I was little. But even then we didn’t go all out. As Christians, we weren’t into the scary aspect of Halloween and focused more on the “fall harvest” aspect. Then, when I was 12, we moved to a pretty secluded house and we never ever got trick-or-treaters. Boo. So the Halloween decorations went into storage and didn’t come out again.

And since we skipped right over Halloween decorations, we dove head first into FALL! That is why I love decorating for fall! You’ve already seen my fall wreath and my fall mantel, now I get to show you my fall table centerpiece!
