Gingerbread Cider {Guest Post}

Today is the last day of guest posts I have set for all of you! The hubby and I are heading back home tomorrow!

I want to introduce you to another of my favorite bloggers! Her name is Alyssa from The Recipe Critic. She is probably one of the sweetest people I’ve never met! We became fast friends and I can’t go a day without going to her blog and drooling over some food! Alyssa has a fantastic recipe for all of you today. The floor is yours, Alyssa!

I am so glad that Talitha gave me the opportunity to come over and guest post today.  I absolutely love this girl!  We have become friends through our blogs and she is the sweetest, nicest blogger I know!  Not to mention I love her blog and all of the fun ideas and recipes she has.

I am Alyssa over at The Recipe Critic.  I am always testing out delicious recipes in my kitchen.  My family rates and reviews the recipes and I give my personal input on how the recipe can be changed or things that I did differently.  I have always loved to cook!  I especially love this time of year with all of the fun holiday treats and family traditions.   We always love being warm and cozy in our house snuggling up in a blanket sipping on some hot cider or chocolate.  One of our absolutely favorite cider recipe is this Gingerbread Cider.  My neighbor gave me this recipe and told me that we had to try it!  We loved it!  It has the perfect spices in it and makes it absolutely delicious.  It is always fun to be with the family making up some of this hot gingerbread cider and a fresh batch of gingerbread cookies!

Homemade Iced Coffee & Caramel Creamer

Homemade Iced Coffee & Caramel Creamer

Fall is in the air. Fall decorations are being pulled out of closets. And I have seen all over Pinterest and many blogs some amazing fall recipes. While I love a good pumpkin spice latte, the 80+ degrees we are still having around here don’t make me feel very “fall-y”.

I’m still making iced coffee around here. I eagerly await the fall drinks, but in case any of you are struggling with transitioning into fall with all this heat, I wanted to share this recipe with you! And because the last time I shared a homemade vanilla coffee creamer recipe many of you asked for a Caramel Coffee Creamer recipe, I created one and thought I would share!

Homemade Vanilla Coffee Creamer

I’ve been working in the kitchen a lot this week so I decided to give you an extra post this week!

Homemade Vanilla Coffee Creamer

The hubby and I enjoy a good cup of coffee, which in our families, is rare. My mom even hates the smell of coffee {I know, I know… she is crazy!}. The hubby enjoys a hot steaming cup of coffee while I’m a bigger fan of iced coffee {recipe on that coming soon!}.

Recently the hubby has been saying that our store bought brand has a little bit of a weird after-taste. So I decided to try my hand at homemade coffee creamer! It seemed pretty basic: cream and flavoring. And it really was just about that easy! Four ingredients total! And it turned out so good with no funky after-taste!
