Slow-Cooker Chili
Hello all! And a happy Monday to you! I hope you all had an amazing weekend full of fun! Our weekend was pretty great. Nice and relaxing.
Fall has officially started! The autumn equinox has begun! And I’m continuing to share some of our favorite fall recipes! Today I present you with one of the most rewarding recipes: Slow-Cooker Chili! I say most rewarding because it requires less than 10 minutes of work for a DELICIOUS payoff!
- 1 pound ground beef
- 24 ounces tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- ¼ cup water
- 1 can black beans, drained
- 1 can kidney beans, drained
- ⅛ tsp ground cayenne pepper
- ¼ tsp sugar
- ¼ tsp oregano
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- ¾ tsp ground cumin
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- In a medium skillet, cook ground beef over medium-high heat until evenly brown. Drain.
- In a slow-cooker, combine cooked ground beef, tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, beans, cayenne pepper, sugar, oregano, pepper, salt, cumin, and chili powder {AKA: dump everything in!}. Mix thoroughly. Cook on medium heat for 4 hours.

Another amazing part? When you come home/go into the kitchen it will smell amazingly like chili! It smells divine!! My favorite way to have chili? Turn it into chili mac with some pasta! Top it with a little sour cream and cheese! The hubby loves his with toppings but nothing else.
How do you like your chili??? On a hot dog? Over fries? Turned into chili mac like me? Or do you love the original, straight
chili?
