Vintage Wooden Signs

I have a thing for old wooden signs. You know, those gorgeous vintage signs you see in pictures of quaint, little New England B&Bs? To buy one normally costs a pretty penny. So I came up with a way to make my own vintage wooden signs. Alright, they may not really be vintage since I bought the wood last week, but they sure do look vintage!

Custom Kitchen Canisters

How is that title for alliteration!? I have to give props to the hubby for that one. It made me happy.

I hope you all have realized by now that I’m a sucker for anything that simplifies my life by means of organization. I like organization. And by organization I mean I-may-be-borderline-OCD-for-realz organization. I like my home neat and tidy {can you tell I don’t have kids yet? Ha.} with everything having its own place. And one step further, I like my organizing systems to be pretty. So the mess of my baking cabinet {I WISH I had a pantry} was driving me bonkers.

Said cabinet was a mess of all-purpose, whole wheat, and bread flour bags stored in gallon Ziploc bags along with half used powdered and brown sugar bags rolled up and clipped closed… all thrown on to a shelf. So I decided to take control of my mess and prettily organize my baking necessities. And I did it all with the magic of water-slide decal paper!! Oooo! Ahhh!
