New Ways to Follow LPH

I don’t know if you heard the news but Google Reader is on it’s way out. Google announced just last week that they are getting rid of their Reader as of July 1st this year. I’m not going to lie… I was a little heartbroken about this! I’ve been following all my favorite blogs using Reader for years! What was a girl to do!? So I went on the hunt for alternatives to my reader. {Of course, you can always sign up to get my posts in your email using the easy entry bar in the sidebar!} For those of you following via Google Reader and you want another reader to replace Google when it is gone, I thought I would share a few new ways to follow LPH. There are tons of options out there but I thought I would be bossy and give you my two cents.

Feedly is a great alternative to Google Reader. It has similar format to Google Reader and even has the same keyboard shortcuts. It even has a setting to change the look of Β your homepage so you can make the pictures as big or small as you would like. I’m loving the timeline view {seen above}. It is alsoΒ super easy to transfer in all of your current subsciptions. Check out their post on how to go about doing that. Personally, I love it and it will probably be my new go-to.

Bloglovin’ is another great option that I know tons of people are loving. Bloglovin’ also allows you to import your reader subscriptions simply through the settings menu. I love it’s very visual format. It is super simple toΒ follow LPH with Bloglovin. Or any of your favorite blogs, for that matter! Just look for a little button like the one below and click on it!
