Happy Blog-iversary to ME! And to this little ole’ blog! Yesterday was the 1-year anniversary of the start of LPH. One year ago yesterday I started writing to all of you wonderful people. Some of you have been with me since the very beginning and some of you are newer friends. I love you all so dearly! Seriously! You guys have enriched my life so much. I wish I could show up at your house with this yummy treat and personally thank you! The last year has been amazing… here’s to many more years!
In celebration of the big day, I whipped up a little creation combining a few of my favorite things: mint chocolate chip ice cream and brownies! It isn’t the first time I’ve combined these two delicious treats. Last year I made Ice Cream Brownie Bites but this time I went a different route… mint Brownie Milkshake!
This recipe hardly qualifies as a “recipe”. It took me all of 3-minutes to make. And I didn’t even do any of the work. The blender did! I don’t think you can call drinking the milkshake “work”.
- 4 scoops mint chocolate chip ice cream
- ½ cup milk
- 1 brownie
- whipped cream, (optional)
- Place mint ice cream scoops and milk into a blender. Pulse blender a few times until ice cream is pureed.
- Break brownie into pieces and stir in with a spoon. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle brownie pieces on top. Enjoy!
Oh my. So good. It was a good excuse to use up that “leftover” mint ice cream and brownies! Sometimes a girl has to treat herself, right??
So obviously I love mint chocolate chip ice cream. What is your favorite ice cream flavor??
