Favorite Finds

Today I’m going to try something a little different on ole’ blog because… well, because I can. Haha!

Favorite Target Find 9/21/12

This past week I found myself wandering the Target Dollar Spot aisle. I swear, I spent about 30 minutes in that tiny aisle! There was so much good stuff! So, I decided that I was going to share the Target love with all of you and show my favorite Target finds this past week that were $4 or under.

Favorite Finds: Baker's String

First on the list: Baker’s string! Man, I’m in love with all the adorable things you can do with this stuff! From wrapping a present to adding that special touch to a mason jar.

Favorite Finds: Grapevine Wreath

Gorgeous 12-inch grapevine wreaths. You may not have realized yet that I’m one of those people with wreaths on my door year round. But I am.

Favorite Finds: Wooden Pumpkins

Next item: wooden pumpkins in red, green, and brown. They were adorable! And the green one goes perfectly with my fall centerpiece {I know, I’m a tease… I promise you’ll see it soon!}.

Favorite Finds: Chicken Wire Basket

An adorable chicken wire basket. This pretty baby came home with me. I imagine it holding a bunch of green apples or a grouping of mason jars! I love that I can use it for any season.

Favorite Find: Glitter Candy Corn

For all those who are decorating for Halloween, I give you the giant glitter candy corn! It was just so festive and so fun! I love it. They also had glitter skulls and glitter pumpkins.

Favorite Finds: Leaf Dish

Is it bad that I just about squealed when I saw these? I’ve been wanting a leaf-shaped dish for months! Why?? I have no clue. I don’t always understand these things myself! I just love the idea of one of these adorable little dishes sitting on my dresser catching all my jewelry I have no patience to put away. It is just one of those little things that makes me happy!

Favorite Finds: Grapevine Pumpkin

I saw these pretty grapevine pumpkins while at Target but decided not to get it. Well, then I changed my mind and went back and got one. I couldn’t get it out of my head! I love it! It is just so pretty and rustic.

Favorite Finds: Washi Tape

And this final find was the most expensive of the bunch at $4. When the lovely Jen at Iheart Organizing shared that Target was now carrying Washi tape… I about grabbed my keys and left that very minute! {No… seriously. I really almost did.} I love me some Washi tape! And at a price that made my jaw drop: 4 rolls for $4! Yippee! They have several colors too! {BTW, the tape was not in the Dollar Spot, it was in the office supplies aisle.}

There you have it! My favorite finds this week from Target. Who doesn’t love decorating and organizing for cheap!?

  1. Going to be making a trip to Target this weekend! Love glitter stuff, I might have to pick me up the candy corn, pumpkin and the skull. Thanks for the heads up!

  2. Ok…talk about wanting to grab your keys!!! haha Some great finds…I can't jumps int he car just yet {hubby and the 3 kiddos probably wouldn't like mommy disappearing before their tummies are full}, but tomorrow is a whole other story! Thanks for sharing. I've been wanting to go check out the washi tape myself since I saw Jen's post.

  3. I can't believe you posted all these wonderful finds! I try to avoid Target because I just can't stop once I get started in there. Now you leave me no choice, I want that baker's string, and the washie tape and the cute pumpkin dish!

  4. You gotta love Target. I'm a little biased because my husband and sister work there, but I think just about every just loves that store. The dollar spot is my danger zone…especially when they have clearance in the dollar spot. I hadn't seen all those great Fall items yet. I'll have to check them out next time I'm there.

  5. Ho hum, can I come visit to see some of the great stuff and maybe get to buy some? Grand Junction is lame, we don't have diddly like you girls talk about all the time, no matter what store it is.
    Love your blog, your projects.

  6. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm so going to target tomorrow!! I have to have that basket! They had ones like that on Pick Your Plum the other day and I swear I almost cried when they sold out before I got some :( And I want all the other stuff you found too. If they don't have it all at mine, I'm driving up there and taking yours :) I have that same washi tape in the green/turquoise colors too!

  7. Dang, your target has better stuff than our Target. Ours had some really cute glittery Halloween stuff, but 1) glitter gets everywhere and 2) I'm more of a fall decorator than a Halloween decorator. Guess I should learn to visualize what I can make things into rather than what they already are
