Chocolate {Dipped} Valentines Pretzels

  • 2-3 cups pretzels
  • ½ cup chocolate chips, white, milk, semi-sweet, or dark
  • ½ cup peanut butter, optional
  • food coloring, optional
  1. Line baking sheet with wax paper. Set aside.
  2. In a double boiler {if you don’t have one you can bring about 1-inch of water to a low simmer in a small saucepan and place a non-meltable bowl on top of it}, melt chocolate chips until smooth. If desired, add peanut butter or food coloring and mix until smooth.
  3. Dip pretzels by hand into the chocolate, allowing the excess to drip off.
  4. Place dipped pretzel on baking sheet. Place full baking sheet in the fridge to allow chocolate to set. Once chocolate is set, move pretzels to airtight container. Store in fridge. Enjoy!
