It’s January. It’s the month when people have made resolutions for the new year and are trying hard to stick with them. I don’t really do resolutions anymore (because I inevitably break them on January 3rd) but I do try to set goals for myself. And let’s be honest, I feel way less bad when I don’t accomplish a goal than when I break a resolution. It’s all in the wording, people. And like a lot of people, one of my goals is to be more organized.
I realize that 99% of people who know me in real life are going to laugh at that goal. I am crazy organized. Clutter and disorganization drives me nuts. But even I have a few Monica’s secret closet spots. Sure, they aren’t that bad, but they are definitely more clutter than function. So when Rubbermaid and Home Depot asked me to check out their new All Access storage line, I was all about organizing and giving a mini-makeover to one of my least functional spaces, the linen closet.

Are you guys ready for a whole lotta recipe posts?? I’ve been cooking and baking up a storm and I have a bunch of recipes to share with all of you!
I don’t know about you, but I think these cold and snowy winter days scream for comfort food. And one of my all time favorite comfort foods is mac and cheese. When I was a kid, it was from that wonderful blue Kraft box. Now that I’m all grown up (…mostly. I may or may not still giggle at certain words and noises…) I love to make homemade mac and cheese. But I still love to get a little help from Kraft to really make this creamy mac & cheese pop!
I’m a sucker for curvy. Wait. Let me clarify. I’m not talking about body shapes. I’m talking about decor. I like a touch of straight modernism but I love curvy. I don’t really know why. I’m just drawn to it! See evidence of my love here and here. So when Cut It Out contacted me wanting to send me some of their products and sponsor a giveaway, I was all for it! Cut It Out is a fantastic shop that offers wood cut out frames, letters, numbers, and symbols. But seriously… have you seen their gorgeous curvy frames?? Cut It Out has beautiful frames in many shapes and sizes. AND at amazing prices! I’ve had my eye on these frames for a while so I quickly ordered my own to show their versatility. Check out my awesome Magnetic Chalkboard Menu!!!
(Sidenote: Aren’t my nieces’ drawings adorable!?)
HI!!! It is so good to be back to DIY-ing after being gone on a mini-vacay to Tennessee this past week. While my hubby attended a nerdy conference I got to hang out with my sister, brother-in-law, and 3 nieces! It was great. Anywho, back to the crafting. Not too long ago I was sent the most wonderful box of goodies. Let me tell you, opening a box full of Martha Stewart Decoupage items can make a girl’s day.
I found fabric-to-fabric medium, oil cloth finish, some Martha paints, soft bristle brushes, beautiful lace trims and fabric cut-outs. I knew instantly that I wanted to create a lace trimmed pillow. I’ve been meaning to update some of my pillows to go with our new home colors so this was a perfect opportunity!
Oh my! I have an incredible recipe for you today. I thought this recipe would be good but, holy moley! It is deee-licious! The amazing little secret ingredient that pushed this from good to ah-mazing? Biscoff Spread! I know! Who would’a thunk? But this treat totally transformed this popcorn into something fantastic! Not only am sharing my wonderful recipe for White Chocolate Biscoff Popcorn, but I’m also sharing about the Biscoff Spread the Love Contest!
