Easy Cream Cheese Danish

Easy Cream Cheese Danish

I’m going to be honest. This recipe has been a long time coming. I’ve been wanting to make homemade cream cheese danish for months now. But I keep putting it off. I don’t know why. These were so simple to make! I think I was just nervous that they wouldn’t turn out as good as the ones I buy. But in all seriousness, I’m a pastry fiend. That’s right. A fiend. I would hoard pastries if it wasn’t “socially unacceptable”. I have often said to the hubby that if I had to choose a different profession, I would be a pastry chef. My latest obsession has been with these easy cream cheese danish.

Baked Potato Soup

I know, I know. I’ve been MIA all week. We got back from Disney World last Friday and I completely intended to post. But by Monday morning I was sick with a horrendous cold. So I’ve been out of the game for the week.

Baked Potato Soup

But I’m feeling much better now so I am finally back! After our wonderful trip to hot Florida, we arrived back in Colorado to a little bit of chilly weather. You know, that perfect fall weather that begs for hot cocoa and warm sweaters and delicious soups. Since the weather was begging for it, I happily obliged and made my all-time favorite soup – Baked Potato Soup!

Let me preface this recipe by saying that me+starches=besties. But seriously, how can you go wrong with a baked potato soup recipe!? Imagine those amazing loaded baked potatoes. Now imagine that deliciousness in soup form. Win-win. Amiright!?

Cinnamon Sugar Baked Donuts

Hello all my wonderful friends! Thanks to the wonder that is technology (woo for scheduling posts), I am currently on a plane to Orlando, Florida for a week with family in Disney World! Woot!

Cinnamon Sugar Baked Donuts

Even though I’m gone, I wanted to share one more post with you guys before taking a week off. Today I’m sharing a recipe that screams “FALL!” to me. I know that donuts aren’t necessarily a fall food, but these Cinnamon Sugar Baked Donuts definitely taste a bit like fall. Plus, they are baked. And turning on the oven is definitely not something that I am willing to do in the summer heat. They are tasty and cakey and all things yummy. Continue reading

Zesty Crab Dip

Zesty Crab Dip

I have a confession. I shared this post over on Tatertots & Jello last December and I totally forgot to share it over here. And that is a BIG mistake on my part. Mostly because this is one of my top 10 FAVORITE recipes of all time. This recipe was given to me by a dear friend and I love her to death for giving it to me! But seriously. If this amazingly Zesty Crab Dip is anywhere near me… I hoard it… in a get-the-heck-away-from-me-I’m-going-to-lick-the-bowl-clean kind of way. This is definitely a recipe you want in your arsenal especially with all the football parties coming up!
