Caramel Apple Cheesecake Dip

Fall is the season when pumpkin and apple dishes come out of the woodwork. They are everywhere you look… and I LOVE IT. I love me some good pumpkin dishes {my friend, Melanie, keeps tempting me with pumpkin ravioli!} but, for me, apple is where it is at {gasp! What!? The girl with the magnificent pumpkin roll!?}. Yes, I’m an apple fiend. I could eat apple dishes year round. I just love apples.

So when I stumbled across this recipe for a Caramel Apple Dip, I knew I had to give it a try {with my own twist, of course!}.

Caramel Apple Cheesecake Dip
Prep time
Total time
Recipe type: Dessert
Serves: 8
  • 1 block cream cheese, room temperature
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ cup caramel sauce, divided
  • ¼ cup mini-chocolate chips
  • Heath toffee bits, {either a bag of them or about 4 crushed candy bars}
  • Granny Smith apples
  1. In a mixer, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and 2 tbsp caramel until incorporated.
  2. Spread cream cheese mixture in serving dish.
  3. Drizzle caramel sauce over top of cream cheese mixture.
  4. Sprinkle chocolate chips over caramel.
  5. Top with toffee bits until covering caramel.
  6. Eat and watch your smile and waist get bigger!

I used both Granny Smith apples and cinnamon graham crackers as our dipping agents. But you could use just about anything your little heart desires! And my heart desired to take a spoon right to this dip, it was that good!

You can make this dip ahead of time and just refrigerate it. Pull it out 30 minutes before you eat it so the cream cheese has a chance to soften a little bit to enable easier dipping.

Man, this dip was so scrumptious! It was sooo good. There was not one drop of dip left in those serving dishes by the end of the night!

So now I’m wondering… what’s your favorite fall food? Pumpkin or apples?
